Position Description

Discover an engaging locums opportunity in Emergency Medicine for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants in Mississippi, offering flexible scheduling.


Highlights

  • Flexible scheduling; 5-7 days every other week
  • Located in a Trauma Level III hospital setting
  • Work alongside a dedicated team of RNs and physicians


Practice Setting

  • Emergency Department with 24-hour physician staffing
  • Support includes RNs and a NP working 9a-9p


Schedule

  • Night shifts from 7p-7a
  • Preference for shifts from Thursday to Monday
  • Work every other week


Cases and Procedures

  • Typical Emergency Department cases
  • Average volume of 85 patients per day, with 15-20 during night shifts


Requirements

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant with 24 months of experience
  • Must hold a valid Mississippi state license


Travel Accommodations

  • Travel and lodging included for the duration of the assignment
